Connecting Women in Business in Western Sydney whilst creating social impact right here, in the Hawkesbury.

About us.

Hawkesbury Women in Business was founded in 2019 to create a genuine, supportive community for women in business across the Hawkesbury and Greater Western Sydney.

What started as a local networking group has grown into a thriving community of more than 2,200 women connected through events, education, collaboration, and shared experiences in business.

We know running a business can feel isolating at times — especially while balancing family, work, growth, and everything in between. HWIB exists to create spaces where women feel supported, welcomed, and connected to opportunities, resources, and each other.

From Coffee Catch Ups and networking events to webinars, workshops, and community initiatives, our focus is simple: practical support, meaningful connection, and creating opportunities for women in business to grow in ways that feel sustainable and achievable.

We’re proud to offer inclusive, child-friendly networking experiences that recognise real life and the realities of modern business ownership.

Whether you’re just starting out, scaling a business, changing direction, or simply looking for community — you are welcome here.

Join our Facebook community or mailing list to stay up to date with upcoming events, opportunities, and conversations happening across the HWIB network.
